On the occasion of the International Mother Earth Day Celebration, our organization joined the call for action made by the United Nations, with the “Act Now” campaign. One of the challenges of the campaign was called “Food without Meat”. The objective? Promote the reduction of meat consumption in our daily diet, replacing it with vegetarian ingredients.
In this small recipe book we present those recipes that we received from all the people who participated in the challenge. The recipe book is made up of two parts: the first, which contains the recipe for the dish in detail; and the second, which only has the option of the dish as a reference, without the respective recipe. We take this opportunity to thank all the people who participated in the challenge for taking the time to do so, demonstrating their commitment to taking small steps in favor of Mother Earth.
We also highlight that the recipes that we present below are homemade recipes, made by people who are not professional chefs in the kitchen, but on the contrary, by people who are trying. They are trying to understand how the kitchen works, what new ingredients they can include in their daily diet that are more sustainable, and above all, they are trying to take another step towards conserving the planet.
I hope this cookbook serves as a guide.
